The Pink Oyster mushroom, or Pleurotus djamor, is commonly found in central Mexican communities, but can also be found in Indonesia growing on hardwood trees in warmer climates with high humidity.
There are nearly 40 types of Oyster mushrooms found widespread in temperate and subtropical forests across the world. They are beautiful and vigorous growers, but are susceptible to cold temperatures in the mycelium and fruiting stage.
