We use HEPA air filtration to maintain a positively pressurized “clean room” environment. All liquid culture syringe production takes place in our clean-room laboratories in front of laminar flow hoods, using laboratory-grade borosilicate glassware, surgical steel tools, and medical-grade syringes and tip caps. Our equipment, tools, and work surfaces are kept clean using both UVC and autoclave sterilization.
Mushroom Strain Origin
The Chestnut mushroom has moved around a bit in classification. August Johann Georg Karl Batsch, German naturalist and mycologist, first named the scaly mushroom Agaricus adiposus in 1786, but was later moved to the genus Pholiota by another well known German mycologist, Paul Kummer.

Chestnut mushrooms have been mainly found in northern and central mainland Europe, with some even found in North America. They are generally found thriving on dead or dying Beech, but have also been found growing on oak and other broadleaf hardwoods.
